Highfield Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
Suited to individuals working with infants and children, along with those entering the industry, this Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) by Highfield covers a wealth of important topics.
About The Course:
If you are in a job role that involves ensuring the welfare of infants and children, such as a childminder or nursery and school staff, then this level 3 course will be ideal. Along with those who are already in the industry, this training is also suitable if you are preparing to enter the field.
The course has been designed to ensure full compliance with the requirements outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage. On completion of your training, you will become a fully qualified paediatric first aider in the workplace.
During this one-day training course, you will be taught several topics that will allow you to go back to the workplace with the knowledge and practical skills to begin your role as a paediatric first aider. These topics include:
- Understanding your role and responsibilities as a paediatric first aider
- Providing first aid for an infant or child who is unresponsive
- Administering first aid to an infant or child with head and/or spinal injuring, along with those who are choking or suffering from anaphylaxis
At King Cobra Training, we provide this Paediatric First Aid course at our modern training centre in Milton Keynes. The course is £130 per person and is delivered by a specialist instructor over just one day.
As we are able to accommodate a class size of up to 15 delegates, many employers opt for training several staff members during the same session. We are able to tailor training courses if you have specific requirements, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team for more information.
